The K-ELECTRO4 is a contained, compact, coolant circulating chiller designed and optimised for cooled electrophoresis applications. It offers the researcher efficient and controlled cooling for applications such as electro blotting, vertical gel electrophoresis, horizontal gel electrophoresis and IEF. The chiller is compatible with all Scie-Plas cooled electrophoresis apparatus.
The powerful refrigeration system of the K-ELECTRO4 is factory preset to your required temperature. The temperature is optimised for the application. The temperature setting can be easily adjusted by the user to the required temperature, between -15°C and +25°C should this be required.
The K-ELECTRO4 delivers cooling fluid of consistent temperature, flow and pressure enabling the user to achieve consistent, reliable and reproducible results from their gel separations and blots.
Additionally the K-ELECTRO4 has a high efficiency and reliable magnetically coupled pump, which offers twice the performance of a refrigerated water bath - in other words, more functionality at lower cost.
The unit comes complete with instructions and high cooling capacity Hexid fluid.

The K-ELECTRO4 has been designed for easy access, allowing routine maintenance to be completed in less than a third of the time required for rival products. The K-ELECTRO4 is supplied complete and ready for installation, including a mains lead, Hexid heat transfer fluid and fluid fittings. The new Super-Cooled Vertical and Electro blotting Units shown below, incorporate a high heat transfer coated steel coil directly in the tank's running buffer.
